Klaustermeier

Lisbeth “Liz” A. (Dressen) Klaustermeier, 68, of Benld, passed away at St. John's Hospital in Springfield on Dec. 22, 2023, with her loving husband by her side.

Liz was born Oct. 16, 1955, in Hillsboro to Robert Dressen and Jean (Laws) Dressen. Liz married James “Jim” C. Klaustermeier on March 17, 1978 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield.

She graduated from Litchfield High School in the class of 1973 and attended SIU of Edwardsville. They lived in St. Petersburg, Fla. for 28 years before moving to Benld. Liz loved working on the beach at The Miramar hotel while in Florida and then worked...
