Edna B. Kampmann, 81, of Worden, died at her residence in Worden on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023. She was born Nov. 2, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter to Arthur V. Fudge and Josephine (Blume) Fudge. She married William K. Kampmann Sr. on Dec. 7, 1958 in St. Louis, Mo. and she is survived by her husband.
Edna was a homemaker for many years. She was a member of the River of Life Church in Worden and she was a very spiritual person.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Josephine Fudge; three sisters, Lucille, Mary, and another in infancy; and two brothers, Xavier and George.
She is survived by her eight children and their spouses, Kathy (Bryan) Ebersohl of Staunton, William K. Kampmann Jr. of Williamson, John (Dorothy) Kampmann of Williamson, Gene Eric Kampmann of Williamson, Michael (Kris) Kampmann of Livingston, Donna (Dr. Panagiotis) Iakovigis of Winter Haven, Fla., April Kampmann (Randolph Orellana) of Edwardsville, and Patrick (Lynn) Kampmann of Edwardsville; 13 grandchildren, Gina, Tina, Kenny, William III, Victoria, Marcus, Kaylee, Cody, Jessica, Nathaniel, Andrew, Layla, and John Jr .; many great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lester Fudge of Alton, Eddie Fudge of Sorento, Mike Fudge of Collinsville, and Arthur Fudge Jr. of East St. Louis, Ill .; many nieces and nephews also survive.
There will be no visitation services for Edna. The Funeral Services are on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Interment will be at Worden City Cemetery in Worden. Pastor Art Braden will be officiating and Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton is in charge of the arrangements.
