David Lee Anderson, 72, of Bunker Hill, died at his residence on Dec. 23, 2023. He was born Dec. 15, 1951, in Litchfield to David L. Anderson and Gloria (Enos) Anderson.

He married Leanne (Hinthorne) Anderson on Oct. 30, 1970 in Bunker Hill and he is survived by his wife.

He was a retired teacher and coach for Bunker Hill School District. David was a collector of baseball cards and he was an avid Cardinals and Blues fan. He loved softball, golf and basketball and enjoyed attending kids' sporting events.

David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Gloria Anderson; and brother, Roy Anderson. He is survived by his three children, Jamie (Eric) Osmulski of Peoria, Krisha (Brad) Jarden of Bunker Hill, and D. J. (Sydney) Anderson of Bunker Hill; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alex, Brady, Abbigail, Rylee, Carson, Haddie, and Amelia; sister-in-law, Vicky Anderson of Brighton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill. Interment will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery. Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
