Edward Joseph Lubrant, 82, of Gillespie, Ill., died at his residence in Gillespie on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023. He was born Sept. 26, 1941 the son to Edward J. Lubrant and Susan Rose (Dorko) Lubrant. He married his spouse, Brenda Kay (Ferguson) Lubrant of Gillespie, on March 22, 1975 in Gillespie and he is survived by his wife. Ed was a former Wilsonville resident. He was a retired coal miner for Monterey Coal Co., a sales representative for All-American T-Shirt Co., and he formerly worked for Owens Illinois Glass Co.
