Krystal L. Lutz of Virden, Jason B. Lutz of Farmersville
Court
Thor S. Barnes (43) of Staunton, committed the Class four felony offense, in that on Sept. 26, 2023, said defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessed a substance containing fentanyl, a controlled substance.
Sean G. Adams (40) of Gillespie, faces three counts that all occurred on Dec. 3, 2023: Count one is for the attempt to disarm a peace officer, being a taser, while the officer was engaged in the detention of Adams; Count two is for aggravated battery to a peace officer, in that Adams knowingly grabbed the hands of said officer, which is a Class two felony; Count three is for the offense of domestic battery with physical contact, in that Adams knowingly shoved his wife.
Trent G. Eichen (38) of Carlinville, faces a Class four felony for the crime committed on Dec. 3, 2023, being the offense of violating an issued notice of an Emergency Order of Protection and having a prior domestic battery conviction in Macoupin County, said defendant came within 500 feet of the protected place while the petitioner was present. The defendant faces an enhanced sentence with four years mandatory supervised release.
William R. Werner (27) of Gillespie, faces two counts for crimes committed on Dec. 3, 2023: Count one is a class three felony for aggravated battery to a victim over 60 years of age, in that said defendant intentionally punched the victim in the face causing bleeding; Count two is for domestic battery with physical contact, in that said defendant knowingly struck the before mentioned victim, being the grandfather and household member of the defendant, on the face with a closed fist.
Anthony M. Campbell (43) of Brighton, committed the offense of criminal trespass to a building, in that on Sept. 1, 2023, said defendant knowingly and without authority entered into a Casey’s General Store located within Brighton, after being given notice that entry was forbidden.
Jacklyn M. Wichman (27) of Virden, committed the offense of criminal trespass of remaining on land, in that on Nov. 22, 2023, said defendant remained upon property located on Springfield St. in Virden, after having been given notice by law enforcement to deport.
DUI
Eric N. Wills (36) of Carlinville, was ticketed for driving a green, 2011 Dodge Ram, under the influence on N. High and E. 1st North, located within Carlinville, on Dec. 2, 2023 at 12:44 a.m.
Austin M. Spaulding (21) of Carlyle, was ticketed for driving a black, 2008 Impala under the suspected influence of cannabis on E. Main and Oak St., located within Mt. Olive.
