Jacqueline R. Wise, 71, of Mount Olive, Ill., died on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill. She was born Aug. 21, 1952, in Granite City, Ill., to Mary Carpenter Lipe. Wise married Kenneth O. Wise. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2012.

She enjoyed being a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Holly) Wise of Staunton, and Robin (John) Willeford of Mt. Olive; grandchildren, Dayan, Nathan, Gia, and Elisha; and brother, Randy (Marilyn) Pierce of Ariz. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Kenneth O. Wise; and brother, Scott Pierce.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and the family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
