Good

Lynette D. Good, 65, of Riverton, Ill., died on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on Feb. 3, 1958, in Litchfield, to Gilbert Monke and Dolores DeVries. She married John T. Good on May 28, 1994, in Williamsville, and he survives.

She worked for Walmart where she was the receiving manager for 19 years. Lynette enjoyed gardening, mowing, and arts and crafts.

She is survived by her mother, Dolores Monke of Mt. Olive; husband, John Good of Riverton; sons, Eric Seabaugh (Rachel) of Brownstown, Nick Seabaugh (Michele) of Brownstown; daughter, Danielle Gerndt (Nick) of Athens; grandchildren, Alexa Seabaugh, Kyle Seabaugh, Ella Gerndt, Jaxon Seabaugh, Avery Gerndt, Alex Caraway, Jim Caraway; and sisters, Michelle Kostich (Mike) of Hamel and Terri Helversen (John) of Rockford. Lynette was preceded in death by her father and brother, Dennis Monke.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive with Pastor Ritter officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive is in charge of arrangements.
