Meghan E. Dustmann, 22, of Prairietown, Ill., died near Prairietown on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023. She was born Feb. 15, 2001, in Alton, the daughter of Brett and Casey McHugh Dustmann.
She was a student at SIUE School of Pharmacy. She also worked as a pharmacy technician at Sullivan Drug Store in Staunton and Weezy’s in Hamel and at Dairy Queen in Staunton. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Prairietown. She was a graduate of Edwardsville High School Class of 2019 and a National Honor Society member while in high school. She loved playing basketball and volleyball all through school. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Meghan was a vibrant and compassionate individual who brought joy to everyone around her. She was known for her loving extraordinary personality. She will forever be cherished in our hearts.
Meghan is survived by her parents, Brett and Casey Dustmann of Prairietown; her brother, Shane Dustmann of Prairietown; maternal grandmother, Charlene Wehrle of Godfrey; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenny and Betty Dustmann.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Prairietown. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Oliver Lamie officiating. Interment will be in Prairietown Cemetery in Prairietown.
