Bartlett

Karen Marie Bartlett, 66, of Staunton, Ill., died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Born April 17, 1957, in Wood River, she was the daughter of Webster and Beryl (Moore) Mouser. On May 17, 1991, in Edwardsville, she married William "Billy" Bartlett, Sr. He died Aug. 2, 2022.

She had worked in the rim fire division of the Olin Corporation for over 20 years before retiring.

Surviving are a step-son, William Bartlett, Jr. of Wood River; daughter, Elizabeth (Zach) Hopwood of Staunton; step-daughter, Amanda (Noah) Gust of Wood River; six grandchildren, Kaiden Linkeman, Rylee Bartlett, Nicolette Schaub, Jersey Gust, Tenley Hopwood, Tessa Hopwood; and a brother, Roger (Lana) Mouser of Wood River. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Gary Mouser.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Nov. 26, at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Cremation rites followed the service. Interment will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
