The Lighting of Duda Park took place on Saturday, Nov. 25, with music provided by Sam Alender and David Cisler. Which makes it official: Thanksgiving 2023 is in the history books and Christmas is here.
Thank you to those who made the community light night a fun program. Special thank you to the Mayor Neuhaus, Sam Alender, Matthew Cisler, Carrie Borgini, Victoria Tervasi and Mason Kahle for making the evening a lot of fun and a success.
The Grinch was on hand to take photos with everyone. There are so many beautiful light displays up at Duda Park and some are even animated. The Grinch was even captivated and stunned by all of the lit-up Christmas Spirit.
If given the chance, please explore its magnificent beauty up close. Try not to hide at the top of the Grinch's mountain, only to glance at Duda Park from afar. It truly encapulates the Staunton community and it's Christmas spirit.
The park will be lit nightly for all to enjoy between now and the New Year.
