Widner

Deborah Jean Widner, 71, of Eagarville, Ill., died at her residence on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023. She was born Dec. 25, 1951, in Litchfield, to Richard Heltsley and Patricia Coss Heltsley Roach. She married Paul W. Widner. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2022.

She was a homemaker. Deborah loved cooking, bingo, being in her swimming pool and being with her family, especially at Christmas.

She is survived by her children, Ginger (Richard) Kroll of Eagarville, David Jones of Pana, Lila (Steve) Jones of Pana; foster children, Leslie Widner of Montana, Cari Widner of Tennessee, Harley Widner of Benld, Ill .; grandchildren, Michael Jones, Levi Kroll, Steven Kroll, Taylor Abberley, Jacqueline McElhiney, Elizabeth Abberley, Tyler Jones, Kayla Ruskie; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Brenda) Heltsley of Eagarville; and sisters, Janet Heltsley of Eagarville and Cheri (Brad) Johnson of Litchfield. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie.
