Dal Pozzo

Christine M. Dal Pozzo, 91, of Staunton, Ill., died on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Hillsboro. She was born Feb. 1, 1932, in Staunton, the daughter of the late Angelo and Christine (Ratzel) Cordani. She married John B. Dal Pozzo on Nov. 25, 1950, and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2017.

Christine was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by four children, John E. Dal Pozzo (Jeanne Winkler) of Hillsboro, Debra Bohm of O'Fallon, Tom Dal Pozzo of Effingham,Tim Dal Pozzo of Benld; grandchildren, Heather Knop of Shiloh, Michael Dal Pozzo of Chatham, Lindsey Dal Pozzo of Hillsboro, Sydney Dal Pozzo of Staunton, Gwen Heuck of Peoria; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Gerri Polley of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Dal Pozzo.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Rev. Phil Girardin officiating. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.
