Troy A. Jones (35) of Girard, faces a felony charge for violating an Order of Protection on Oct. 21, 2023, and also having a prior violation in Sangamon County. Jones, having been served with notice of an Emergency Order of Protection issued on Oct. 20, 2023, by the Circuit Court of Macoupin County, entered upon the property of the protected location located in Girard.
Robert J. Zumwalt (42) of Livingston, faces two counts for crimes committed on Aug. 9, 2023. Count one is a felony charge for criminal trespass with person(s) present, in that said defendant knowingly and without authority, entered into a residence located in Staunton and had reason to know that one or more persons were present. Count two is for the offense of domestic battery with bodily harm, in that said defendant caused bodily harm to the mother of defendant’s children by pulling her by the hair and struck her in the head with his hand.
Ricky L. Flynn Jr. (48) of Litchfield, faces a felony charge for a felon failing to return from furlough, committed by said defendant on Oct. 19, 2023. Flynn Jr, a person convicted of a felony, knowingly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail after a furlough to begin serving a sentence in the Ill. Department of Corrections as required pursuant to a sentence imposed in Macoupin County.
Frederick J. Skinner (19) of Carlinville, faces two counts of felony charges for crimes that occurred on Oct. 22, 2023 and Oct. 23, 2023. Count one is for burglary, in that said defendant, without authority and knowingly, entered Ace Hardware located within Carlinville with the intent to commit theft. Count two is for theft of $300 and less of merchandise with a previous conviction. Skinner knowingly took possession of gloves, a knife, a sawblade, and a weld wire flux core from Ace Hardware located within Carlinville, having a total value not in excess of $300 and did so with the intent to deprive the merchant without paying the full retail value of such merchandise. Skinner has previously been convicted of retail theft in Macoupin County.
Kylee R. Miller (18) of Granite City, faces two counts of felony charges for crimes committed on Oct. 24, 2023. Count one is for the offense of burglary, in that said defendant, without authority and knowingly, entered the Shell Gas Station located within Brighton, and did so with the intent to commit therein a theft. Count two is for criminal damage being in excess of $500 but less than $10,000; Miller knowingly and without permission, damaged the property of said Shell Gas Station by breaking the glass entrance door.
Joseph W. Kincaid (34) of Bunker Hill, faces a felony charge for driving on a revoked or suspended license on Sept. 25, 2023, Kincaid drove a 2011 GMC bearing Ill. Registration on intersection of IL-4 and Hummingbird Lane within Macoupin County. This was during a period in which his license was suspended or revoked and also having previously been convicted on four prior occasions for driving while license is suspended or revoked: all in Macoupin County on March 2, 2010, Sept. 21, 2011, Sept. 15, 2014 and March 16, 2016.
David J. Karrick (42) of Carlinville, faces two counts of a felony charge for burglary without causing damage and for theft, both occurred on Aug. 29, 2023. Karrick, without authority and knowingly, attempted to enter a 1995 Ford F350, without causing damage, and did so with the intent to commit theft. Count two is a felony charge of theft, in that on Aug. 29, 2023, said defendant knowingly exerted unauthorized control over power tools belonging to another individual and concealed or abandoned the property in such a manner as to deprive the owner permanently of such use. Karrick has previously been convicted of theft in Macoupin County.
Jessie C. Bates (37) of Goodfield, faces a charge for criminal trespass to a residence, in that on Oct. 10, 2023, said defendant, knowingly and without authority, entered into a residence located within Staunton.
Shelby L. Veach (22) of Staunton, faces a charge for criminal trespass of a building, in that on Aug. 9, 2023, said defendant knowingly and without authority, entered into a garage located on Union Street, in Staunton.
Kawliga J. Leverett (39) of Bunker Hill, faces a charge for repeatedly disregarding notices of prior violations of his livestock running at large. On Oct. 23, 2023, the defendant allowed three pigs to run at large.
Ronald M. Burns (35) of Gillespie, faces a charge for the unlawful use of a black, jack-knife. On Sept. 15, 2023, said defendant knowingly possessed a black in color knuckle weapon.
DUI
Caden J. Kissell (19) of Chatham, was ticketed for an accident that occurred while driving under the influence on Sawyerville Hills Road, Exit 4, and Willhoit Airport Road, on Oct. 8, 2023, and at 1:48 a.m. where a personal injury was sustained.
William Edwards (35) of oveida, Wis., was cited for two counts of driving under the influence at Route 4 and 108, on Oct. 8, 2023, at 2:05 a.m.
Blake B. Nappier (17) of Edwardsville, was ticketed for driving under the influence on IL-4, just south of White City Road on Oct. 14, 2023, at 2:28 a.m.
Makayla R. Bandy (43) of Bunker Hill, was cited for driving under the influence on Highway 16 and Julian Avenue, on Oct. 27, 2023, at 5:51 a.m.
