Grant Received at The Helping Hands Center

The Staunton Helping Hands Center received a grant for $1,215 from Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowl. Each Lent, Catholic families across the country unite to put their faith into action through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Through the CRS Rice Bowl, families learn about how individuals across the globe overcome hardships like hunger and climate change, and how through Lenten donations, there is the power to make the world a better place for all. The SHHC was able to receive funds through Diocese of Springfield and would like to thank local donors that supported the efforts.
