A teen center is scheduled to open this week in the old KC Hall on Spring Street. Kazoos will be open Friday and Saturday nights as a teen center and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as a flea market.

Janet E. Ziegler (61) of Livingston, formerly of Edwardsville, died Oct. 25 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Patricia L. Clark (61) of Staunton, formerly of Gillespie, died Oct. 22 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Early voting for Macoupin County residents took place on Oct. 25 in Staunton.
The Worden-to-Staunton bike trail was inaugurated with a walk/ride for kids and families.
The new emergency sirens will be tested next week.
