City of Staunton to Reapply for Housing Rehabilitation Grant

The City of Staunton is currently accepting applications for a State of Ill. housing grant. It is not necessary for the homeowners who filled out applications for last year’s grant to resubmit as this is a reapplication and the applications on file are acceptable. The grant is funded by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO).

The grant will allow 100% funding to complete rehabilitation to homes for work such as replacing roofs, doors, windows, HVAC, deteriorating floors, siding, plumbing, and electrical at no cost to the homeowner.
