Attention: seniors 55 and older

Enjoy fellowship and bingo with the senior citizens of Staunton twice a month on the first and third Thursday's.

The Oct. 19, 2023 meeting was called to order at 1 p.m. by President, Gerri Cook. The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were recited upon the beginning of the meeting. There were 20 people present for the Oct. 19 meeting.

Cook read a thank you card received by St. Paul for the use of our bingo machine. Also it was announced we will be having our Holiday Luncheon on Nov. 16.

The attendance prizes were awarded to Bev Williams and Cook. Pots of silver were won by Linda Pike and Margaret Heinemeyer.

The meeting was adjourned by Cook and everyone enjoyed playing bingo, which was called by Leslie Vannoy. The next Senior Citizens meeting will be on Nov. 2, 2023 beginning at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Christian Church on 225 S. Laurel St. in Staunton.
