Staunton Volleyball helps raise awareness for ALS

The Staunton High School volleyball team hosted a Volley for the Cure game on Thursday, Sept. 28, to raise awareness for ALS in honor of Cheryl Whitten of Hillsboro. Whitten's granddaughter, Kinslee Maedge, is a member of the team, and Whitten can often be found at games cheering on the Lady Bulldogs. The theme for the Volley for the Cure game was "white out," and the Lady Bulldogs defeated the Carlinville Cavies.
