The storm that came roaring in on Tuesday, Sept. 26, really did a number on the historical brick buildings that still stand on Main Street in Staunton. Not only were roofs ripped off from the intense wind, but debris from metal roofing and broken brick were scattered around the sidewalks of Main Street. In the picture above, the city was using a crane to properly clear the truck loads of debris.
