We had a great day for golfing. The course was in wonderful shape. The golfing was not what it usually is; not very good for any of us.
The low net was the team of Karen Crosslin and Rosemarie Pickerill with a 45. Two teams tied for low net. They were Kim Meyer and Barb Augustine, Linda Best and Martha Riley (29). Karen, Rosemarie, Kim, Barb, Linda, and Martha all tied for low putts (13). We will be off next week due to preparation for the Mother Road Concert on Saturday, Sept. 23. It will be a great time and we invite all who care to join.
We would like to thank Kim Meyer for the great taco bar she prepared for us. Also, on Thursday, Sept. 28, we will have our "Flag Day." Special games and prizes along with recognition for those who had their own birdie during the season. A lunch and business meeting will follow.
Rosemarie Pickerill, Sec.
