Staunton's FFA visited the Farm Progress Show in Decatur

The Staunton FFa chapter took 30 high school members to the 2023 Farm Progress Show on Thursday, Aug. 31, in Decatur, Ill. According to the Farm Progress Show, it is "the nation's largest outdoor farm event that annually hosts over 600 exhibitors from around the world. Every year, the Farm Progress Show connects thousands of producers with companies that are pushing the boundaries of innovation in agriculture. It is THE premier ag event, and the best place to see what's next for agriculture."

During the day, students were able to walk around the show and talk with exhibitors about new and emerging technology in production agriculture. Students were also able to learn about various organizations in the agriculture industry and how agriculture is evolving and adapting to the growing needs of the world.
