Ralph Fry "Tiny" Chapman, Jr., 71, of Springfield, Ill., died at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield on Aug. 20, 2023. He was born March 30, 1952, to Ralph Fry Chapman Sr. and Patricia Ruemmler Sweet.

He was a retired truck driver and tow truck driver. Ralph enjoyed boating, fishing and gun collecting.

He is survived by children, Robert "Bob" Mehlberg (Brenda) of Witt, Donald Chapman of Benld, Ronald Chapman (Brittany) of Benld, Christ Chapman (Veronica) of Ocala, Fla., Candice Chapman of Florida, Carl Chapman of Illinois; brother, Andy Chapman of Wilsonville; sister, Nancy Cox of Springfield; grandkids, Hannah, Cailee, Doris and Max. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Chapman.
