New concrete steps were poured at St. Michael’s School and a new sidewalk will be poured this week.

Shawn Davis set up a chiropractic practice at 842 N. Edwardsville at the location of the former Reagan Family Chiropractic office.

A daughter was born to Mark and JoAnn Odorizzi on July 28 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

The Water Shoppe is a new business in town owned by Donna and Tony Bagaglio. It’s a division of The Plumbing Shoppe, selling drinking water systems.

Mary Marcolina (83) of Livingston, formerly of Williamson, died Aug. 22 at Heritage Manor of Staunton.

Margaret Marie Dennison (54) of Mt. Olive died Aug. 20 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

William H. Schoeneman (83) of Worden died at his home on Aug. 21.

Theodore M. “Ted” Cummings (50) of Gillespie died Aug. 23 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

John T. Schneider (36) of Worden died Aug. 22 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Diane E. Watson (54) of Cottage Hills, formerly of Staunton, died at the family home in Cottage Hills on Aug. 19.
