The monthly program of the Macoupin County Historical Society will be held Monday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Ruyle Building on the historical society grounds at 920 West Breckenridge, Carlinville.
The speaker this month will be Gerald Savage, a Native American who is an Elder of the Ho Chunk Tribe, Illinois Humanities Scholar, and Native American Educator. His presentation touches on history 200-500 years ago, a deeper look at our culture and Native Americans in our region. The public is invited to attend the presentation....
