Lienard

Julene Sue Lienard, 65, of Gillespie, Ill., died on Monday, July 17, 2023, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She was born Sept. 16, 1957, in Litchfield, the daughter of Jule Lienard and Virginia Shroyer Lienard.

She was an administrative assistant at CGS Administration. Julene was a graduate of Gillespie High School; she was a graduate of the University of Illinois in Springfield, where she received her bachelor’s degree; and she was a graduate of Walden University, where she received her master's degree in human resources. She enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Stacey (Aaron) Zinnecker of Gillespie and Christina Hardiman of Gillespie; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Tristan, Baylie, Hannah, Jacoby, Jakeb; and one great-grandchild, Ryleigh.

Julene was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Danny (Diana) Lienard of Seattle, Wash., Emil (Sharon) Lienard of Mt. Olive, and Debbie (Scott) Fischer of Cape Coral, Fla.

Funeral services were held at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie on Friday, July 21.
