Drive-thru dinner in Litchfield

St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor the fourth of six drive-thru dinners on Monday, Aug. 14, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to support the Auxiliary’s scholarship fund. The Aug. 14 drive-thru dinner pickup will take place in front of the main hospital entrance.

The meal will feature a grilled pork chop, baked potato, southern style green beans, and a roll, all prepared by Nelson’s Catering, with a homemade dessert provided by Auxiliary bakers. The cost per meal is $14.

The Auxiliary scholarship fund provides annual awards to students who reside principally in Montgomery or Macoupin counties, have completed one year of college, and are pursuing degrees or diplomas in health-related occupations.

 Additional drive-thru dinner dates with various menus will take place on Monday, Sept. 11, as well as, Monday, Oct. 9.
