Brock E. Bultema (35) of Hillsboro on March 6, in Macoupin County committed the offense of meth delivery.
John T. McDonald (27) of Carlinville on March 21, 2022, committed the offense of possession of meth.
Sean W. Linnell (33) of Brighton on June 21, committed the offense of aggravated battery/victim 60+ in that said defendant, in committing a battery, intentionally caused bodily harm to Judith Linnell, a person over 60 years of age, in that he shoved her off a chair and struck her in the face. Also on June 21, Linnell committed the offense of domestic battery/bodily harm in that he knowingly caused bodily harm to Linnel, mother of the defendant, in that he pushed her off a chair causing bruising and cuts.
Eric Foster (48), homeless of Carlinville, on May 10, committed the offense of possession of meth.
Steven B. Pesavento (37) of Staunton on June 20, committed the offense of burglary in that defendant entered Dollar General in Mt. Olive with intent to commit a theft. Also on June 20, he committed the offense of theft in that said defendant took possession of items of merchandise offered for sale in Dollar General having a total value not in excess of $300 without paying the full retail value. Said defendant has been previously convicted of theft in Macoupin County.
Omakea Thomas (26) of Milwaukee, Wis., has been charged with a Class 3 felony in that on Sept. 30, 2021, he committed the offense of possession with intent to deliver a legend drug, in that he knowingly possessed with intent to deliver 30 ml. or more of promethazine in liquid form, who is not licensed by applicable law to prescribe or dispense legend drugs nor an employee of the licensee operating in the normal course of business under the supervision of the licensee.
Jovan Berry Thornton (28) of Milwaukee,Wis., has been charged with a Class 3 felony in that on Sept. 30, 2021, he committed the offense of possession with intent to deliver a legend drug. Defendant intended to deliver 30 ml or more of promethazine in liquid form, who is not licensed by applicable law to prescribe or dispense legend drugs nor an employee of the licensee operating in the normal course of business under supervision of the licensee.
Nicole J. Austill (43) of Bunker Hill did, on May 21, commit the offense of battery in that she knowingly caused bodily harm to Stephanie Short in that she struck Short in the face with her hand.
Craig A. Austill (45) of Bunker Hill did on May 21, commit the offense of battery in that he knowingly caused bodily harm to Stephanie Short in that he grabbed Short by the throat and held her to the ground.
Isaac E. Edgington (32) of Carlinville did on May 26, commit the offense of attempted theft in that he knowingly attempted to exert unauthorized control over the property of Blackburn College, being an automotive tire having a total value of not more than $500.
Isaac E. Edgington (32) of Carlinville did on May 3, commit the offense of retail theft. Said defendant took possession of merchandise for sale in Boente’s East Food Mart/Shell, Carlinville, being a Little Debbie snack cake, without paying the retail value of such merchandise.
Kimberly L. Warren (55) of Virden did on April 30, commit the offense of theft of the property of Jacob and Lauren Marsaglia, being a metal fire pit with a value not in excess of $500.
Angel D. Madden (29) of Palmyra on June 18, did commit the offense of battery in that she knowingly caused bodily harm to Terry Wyhs in that she struck Wyhs in the head with her fist.
Crystal D. Cooper (37) of Girard, did on June 17, commit the offense of battery in that defendant made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with Sam McNear in that she slapped him in the face .
Roger Bodine (41) of Shipman was charged with cruelty to animals in that on June 17, he abandoned a dog named Adios where it may become public charge or suffer injury, hunger or exposure.
Tony Law (56) of Gillespie did on May 31, commit the offense of animal owner duties/1st violation, in that he owned dogs named Sadie, Ringo and Coco that have been suffering from parasites and did not take the dogs to the veterinarian to prevent suffering.
Thomas P. Kennedy (34) of Virden did on May 30, commit the offense of animal owner duties/1st violation, in that his dog named Zeus had been ill and defendant did not take the dog to the veterinarian to prevent suffering which led to the dog’s death. In Count II, defendant’s dog Zeus died and defendant allowed the body or parts of the body to lie about the premises at 126 E. Vance in Virden for more than 24 hours.
Eric Foster, homeless, of Carlinville did on May 9, commit the offense of criminal trespass in that he knowingly and without lawful consent entered into an unoccupied residence at 1107 Johnson Street, Carlinville.
Eric M. Streeb (34) of Staunton did on April 26, commit the offense of criminal trespass to land by entering 314 W. 5th St., Staunton, after having received prior notice from law enforcement that such entry was forbidden. On April 17, Streeb committed the offense of assault in that he knowingly and without lawful authority threw a rock at Matthew Mitchelar thereby placing Mitchelar in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery.
Timothy M. Louvier (38) of Carlinville on June 22, violated an order of protection in that he knowingly committed an act prohibited by the order of protection in that defendant called and sent text to a protected party. In Count 2, he also came within 1,000 feet of the protected party.
DUI
Logan R. Logterman (24) of Moro on June 9, at 11:12 p.m. did unlawfully operate a 2018 Chevrolet truck in Carlinville and received three DUI citations.
Kristin L. Knotts (47), Chatham, was charged with two counts of DUI on June 17 when she unlawfully operated a BMW passenger car on Macoupin/Pine in Gillespie at 10:05 a.m. with BAC of .328
