A tow truck driver was charged with involuntary manslaughter on Friday, June 9, and accused of falling asleep at the wheel before a crash that killed an 82-year-old Staunton man.
Charges allege that on Oct. 18, 2022, Shawn D. Millfelt, 26, of St. Charles, Mo., was driving a tow truck loaded with two U.S. Postal Service mail trucks when he fell asleep while driving in West Alton.
