Brandon J. Edwards (25) of Staunton was charged with domestic battery in that on May 29 said defendant made contact of an insulting or provoking nature with Avina Bridges, ex-girlfriend of the defendant, in that he punched her in the head with a closed fist, previously having been convicted of domestic battery on July 12, 2022.

Daniel R. Gooding (34) of Carlinville was charged with criminal damage to property in that said defendant knowingly damaged the car of Savannah Staples on June 2 by throwing a steel wedge at the car door and through the window of her vehicle. The damage was in excess of $500 but less than $10,000.

Everett T. Moore (53) of East St. Louis was charged with driving with a revoked, suspended license and DUI. Said defendant drove a 2017 Hyundai on North 3rd at Mound Street in Girard on May 9 during a period in which his driver’s license was suspended or revoked for a violation of driving while license suspended or revoked in Sangamon County on Dec. 8, 2014, March 27, 2018, and June 27, 2018, and in Macoupin County on July 14, 2020.

Veronica R. Sutton (25) of Springfield was charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license and DUI in that on May 3 said defendant drove a 2007 Saturn on I-55 near MP 43 during a period in which her driver’s license was suspended or revoked, having previously been convicted on five prior occasions for driving while license suspended or revoked in Sangamon County on Jan. 5, 2017, and Nov. 9, 2020, in Tazewell County on April 21, 2017, and Dec. 7, 2020, and in Peoria County on Dec. 21, 2017.

Breydon T. Turner (22) of Wilsonville was charged with two counts of theft on June 7 when defendant knowingly exerted unauthorized control over the property of Ronald and Lorette Pollard, being a black and yellow Poulan Pro riding lawn mower having a value of more than $500 but less than $10,000. The defendant had been previously convicted of theft in Macoupin County.

Adriane E. Tuttle (33) of Quincy was charged with possession of meth on June 8.

Debra J. Boggs (47) of Modesto was charged with battery in that on June 4 said defendant pushed Kathy Sherwood. As an additional term and condition of bond, Debra J. Boggs shall have no oral, written, electronic or in-person contact with Kathy Sherwood.

Jesse S. Bridges (48) of Godfrey was charged with assault on June 5 in that said defendant placed Brandon Edwards in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery in that he attempted to grab Edwards while stating he was going to beat his ass.

Timothy L. Buzick (45) of Mt. Olive was charged with theft. On June 5 said defendant exerted unauthorized control over the property of McGhee Heating & Cooling, being R407c refrigerant.

Todd E. Laroche (41) of Gillespie was charged with resisting arrest on June 7 in that defendant knowingly resisted the performance of a peace officer, Devin Shoen, in the arrest of the defendant for a failure to appear warrant by attempting to walk away from Schoen after having been given lawful commands to stop.

DUI

Adam Buhs (47) of Springfield was cited for driving under the influence on June 4 at 4:13 a.m. on I-55 northbound at MP 48 in Cahokia Township.

Zachary Bowles (32) of Livingston was cited for driving under the influence on June 3 at 10:08 p.m. while unlawfully operating an ATV on Route 4 at Deneen Street in Staunton.

Robert Best (23) of Glen Carbon was cited for driving under the influence on June 4 at 9:52 p.m on IL Route 4 south of Litchfield Rd. in Honey Point Township. Driver was injured in an accident.

David Anderson (20) of Witt was cited for possession of alcohol by a minor on June 2 at 10:08 p.m. at US 66, 623 feet west of old Reservoir Rd. in Mt. Olive Township.

James Stanton (19) of East Alton was cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor on June 3 at 1:19 a.m. on Washington at Warren.
