Graduates of Blackburn College

Alexander Jasper of Mt. Olive graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Social Science Education: History from Blackburn College during the institution's 154th commencement ceremony in May 2023. Jasper was awarded with the Senators Vince & Deanna Demuzio Award in Education recognizing the graduating senior majoring in the field of education. It recognizes leadership, the ability to be a successful teacher, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor others. Jasper also received department honors in his academic field of study.

Josephine Manar of Bunker Hill graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Manar was awarded with the Baird-Zieglar Prize recognizing graduating seniors with the highest academic average in the division of Social Sciences. Manar also received department honors.
