Layne A. Orman, 21, of Worden faces one count of aggravated fleeing police/21 MPH over, in that defendant drove a Kia Sedan on Staunton-Bunker Hill Road and having been given a visual or audible signal by a peace officer directing said driver to stop, willfully failed or refused to obey and drove at a rate of speed at least 21 mph over the legal limit. Orman also faces Count II charges of obstructing justice/destroying evidence. Defendant, with intent to obstruct prosecution, concealed himself from Sgt. John McMahon.
Douglas J. Cornman, 24, of Hettick faces charges of possession of meth on May 15.
Ashley H. Corigan (21) of Millstadt faces two counts of DUI/license suspended or revoked in that defendant was in physical control of a 2013 GMC SUV within Macoupin County while under the influence of alcohol and during a time when her driver’s license was suspended or revoked for driving under the influence.
Jason A. Keffer, 26, of Benld faces Count I charges of domestic battery/strangle in that on May 16, defendant strangled Kimberly McCoy, a household member of the defendant, by grabbing her by the throat, applying pressure and impeding her normal breathing. Keffer also faces Count II charges of domestic battery in that he knowingly caused bodily harm to Kimberly McCoy in that he grabbed her by the arms and pushed her around causing bruising and said defendant having previously been convicted of domestic battery in Macoupin County.
Raymond E. Jones, 55, of Carlinville has been charged with criminal trespass to land. On May 11, Jones entered the land at 324 Hickory Street in Carlinville after having received notice from the property owner that such entry was forbidden.
Jamie D. Magire, 37, of Mt. Olive faces charges of resisting a peace officer in that defendant knowingly resisted the performance of Roger Dively to act in his official capacity when she disobeyed lawful commands to step back and slapped Dively’s hand away when he was trying to create space between her and officers.
Deborah A. Diehn, 61, of Staunton has been charged with criminal trespass to land in that she entered land on E. Olive Street in Staunton after having received prior notice from the owner that such entry was forbidden.
DUI
Ginger L. Weaver, 68, of Girard was charged on May 9 at 12 a.m. for unlawfully driving her 2003 Lexus on public highway N. 3rd in Girard while under the influence.
Haley I. Tabert, 26, of Girard was charged with two counts of driving under the influence - alcohol. On Nov. 21, 2022, defendant drove a 2015 GMC Sedan on Route 4 near Virden when the alcohol concentration of her breath was .8 or more.
Kyle T. James, 32, of Girard received two DUI tickets. On May 18, he did unlawfully operate a '97 white Buick on public streets, specifically Springfield and Waverly in Virden while under the influence (.180).
The Bunker Hill Police Department issued four citations to Logan Blevins of Benld on May 18: Citation 1 - DUI alcohol/intoxicating compound/drugs; Citation 2 - Driving under the influence/BAC. 0.08; Citation 3 - Driving under influence of alcohol; Citation 4 - Reckless driving.
