Court

Shannon N. Corwin, 38, of Virden was charged on April 30, with unlawful possession of controlled substance in that she knowingly and unlawfully possessed a substance containing fentanyl, a controlled substance, and also committed the offense of criminal trespass to residence by entering a residence at 541 W. Holden St. in Virden, the residence of another.

On Feb. 8, 2023, Antonio L Zollicoffer, 35. of Carlinville, committed the offense of possession of a Visa debit card without permission of the cardholder, Dale J. Jamieson, and obtained control over property more than $150 in value within the preceding 90 days.

On Feb. 16, Michael Vogel of Gillespie was charged with possession of meth.

On April 30, Michael D. Debose. 36, of Virden was charged with two counts of domestic battery, in that he knowingly caused bodily harm to Laci Greenwalt, household member of the defendant, in that he grabbed her by the throat. He has previously been convicted of domestic battery in Macoupin County.

Danielle A. Shelton, 49, of Mt. Olive on March 29 was charged with possession of meth.

Amy S. Underwood, 37, of Staunton, on March 20 committed the offense of criminal damage to property in that she knowingly damaged property of Mark J. Martin being a 2022 GMC Sierra Denali, by scratching the paint of said vehicle with damage being in excess of $500 but less than $10,000.

Juston I. Triplett, 38, of Carlinville on May 4, was charged with three counts of aggravated battery by causing great bodily harm to James Duncan in that he kicked Duncan in the face and head, causing a fractured mandible and struck Duncan in the face with his fist, while on the Carlinville Square in Carlinvillle, a public way.

On May 4, Courtney R. Wilson, 36, (homeless) of Carlinville was charged with three counts of burglary in that she entered Walmart with intent to commit a theft; took possession of merchandise without paying retail value; and entered the Walmart in Carlinville after having been previously notified that such entry was prohibited.

Thomas J. Painter, 46, of Virden on May 4, was charged with possession of meth.

On April 23, Christopher Oatsvall, 57, of Carlinville was charged with battery in that he caused bodily harm to Adam Woods in that he struck Woods in the face with his fist.

On April 4, Chad D. Combs of Carlinville was charged with criminal damage to property by damaging property of Robert Thompson, being a window screen. Damage not in excess of $500.

DUI

Ashlay H. Corrigan, 21, of Milstadt was charged with DUI while driving at Railroad St. and Bernice Ave. in Shipman at 11:36 p.m.

Zu Zhu, 60, of Springfield was charged with DUI at 10:36 p.m. while driving on northbound I-55 at milepost 47.
