Quarton

Roger D. Quarton, 66, of Findlay, Ill., died at Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was born Jan. 15, 1957, in Carlinville to Donald Lee Quarton and Carolyn Rees Quarton.

Roger graduated from Lincoln Christian College with a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree. He was a missionary and later a minister at Westervelt Christian Church.

He is survived by his children, Ryan D. Quarton (fiancée, Teela Spoor) of Litchfield, Colin T. (Loni) Quarton of Parsons, Kan., Eric B. (Shani) Quarton of Flora, Caitlin J. (Olgert) Refatllari of Dixon; eight grandchildren; siblings, Caryn (Steve) Collins of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ella May (Art) Roemer of Gillespie, Barbara (Dale) Drennan of Monticello, Donna (Randy) McLeese of Palmyra, Dr. Brian (Lori) Quarton of Litchfield; and several nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are Wednesday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church in Gillespie. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra.
