William Nolan Logue Jr., 75, of Hamel, Ill., died on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his home. William was born on Feb. 5, 1948, the son of William Logue Sr. and Mary (Manning) Logue. He attended Mt. Olive High School and graduated in the Class of 1966. He married Michele Logue on Sept. 26, 1970, at the White City Motorcycle Club in White City, and she preceded him in death.
William was a firefighter for over 30 years. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. Cars and trucks were one of William's hobbies, and he also loved fishing in his free time.
William is survived by his son, Charles (Christy) Logue; six grandchildren, Darrell (Morgan) Logue, Harley Logue, Dusty Nolan, Kyle Ballard, Matt Ballard, Danielle Trimm; and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (John) Dodt, Nancy (Jeff) Patzius, Phyllis Bandy, Linda Harbaugh, Becky Pifer; brothers, Dan Logue, Kenny Logue and Larry (Ethel) Logue; and a very close friend, Sarah Nolan. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Kristen Logue Wood; and sister, Cindy Odle.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
