The Lady Bulldogs hosted the Maryville Christian Lions at the Staunton City Soccer Complex at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 13, to kick off their 2023 season. This season the Bulldogs will field a team of six seniors, five juniors, five sophomores, and eight freshmen. Senior goalie, Valeria Cazares will anchor the defense as she returns to goal. Also returning are seniors Lexi Pfeiffer, Sydnee Stanton, Madison Greer, Reese Hoog and Brenna Horton. The girls will be looking to improve on last year's tie with the Lions.
The Lady Bulldogs will then host the Highland Bulldogs in a Battle of the Dogs on March 21. This game, which starts at 4:15 p.m., will be the first game in an annual contest. Please come out this season and support your Lady Bulldogs soccer team
