Congratulations to 5th grade teacher Tim Smiddy for receiving the Citizenship Education Award from the VFW. This well-deserved honor is due to Mr. Smiddy's creation and continued tradition of the Patriot Club Program at Staunton Elementary School. Quartermaster Wayne Bruhn (left) with Staunton Post 1241 presented the certificate.
