The Staunton City Council voted on Monday night to approve the purchase of two scoreboards for the city's baseball/softball fields. The scoreboards will be purchased from Nevco at a total cost of $10,410.
The scoreboards are 10 feet wide, 4 feet tall, and 8 inches deep. They will feature amber and red digits and will have wireless handheld controls along with in-board wireless receiver kits. The scoreboards have a five-year warranty.
