After losing the championship game to Fr. McGivney at the CORL Tournament, the Lady Bulldogs returned home to play Fr. McGivney again on Dec. 30. They lost this game 35-44.
Staunton points were scored by Haris Legendre 14, Lilly Bandy 9, Ele Feldman 6 and Grace Bekeske 6.
The girls traveled to Greenville on Jan. 5. They lost 35-41 to the Comets.

The girls played Maryville Christian at home on Friday, Jan. 6, winning that game 45-28.
They traveled to Auburn on Saturday, Jan. 7. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Auburn 43-29. That win brought their season record to 14-5. They will be home to play Hillsboro on Jan. 12 and Nokomis on Jan. 14.
County Tourney
The Macoupin County Tournament is scheduled for Jan. 16 - 20. The Staunton girls will play their first game of the tournament at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, when they play the winner of Monday’s North Mac/Mt. Olive game. A win on the 17th would put Staunton in the girls championship game, scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20. A loss on the 17th would put them in the 3rd place game set for 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19.
