• Christian T. Johnson, 20, of Standard City, faces felony charges of aggravated battery of a child under the age of 13 years after allegedly striking the minor, causing bruising under the minor’s eye, and domestic battery after allegedly striking his girlfriend in the face, causing bruising, on Thursday, Dec. 22.
• Isaac E. Edgington, 32, of Jacksonville, faces felony charges of criminal damage to property after allegedly using a knife to scratch the paint off of another individual’s vehicle and criminal trespass to land after allegedly entering a business after receiving prior notice that such entry is forbidden on North Springfield Street in Virden on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
• Gary A. Parker, 44, of Gillespie, faces felony charges of aggravated battery using a deadly weapon after allegedly swinging a pool ball within a sock, striking another individual in the arm, and aggravated battery in a public place on Springfield Road in East Gillespie on Thursday, Dec. 29.
• Christopher D. Winfree, 29, of Bunker Hill, was cited for driving under the influence at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.
• Jacob D. Gleason, 28, of Cottage Hills, was ticketed for driving under the influence at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, at Route 159 and Barth’s Lake Road in Bunker Hill.
• Lucas A. Fenton, 33, of Litchfield, was cited for driving under the influence at 4:16 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, at Route 138 and Route 66.
• Stacey L. Fiala, 54, of Sorento, was ticketed for driving under the influence at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the intersection of Staunton Road and Binny Station Road in Staunton.
