Mark Kevin Spudic, 66, of Mt. Olive, Ill., died at Community Hospital of Staunton on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022. Mark was born on Feb. 22, 1956, in Staunton, to William Thomas Spudic and Imogene May (Beyer) Spudic. He married Mary Frances Andrews on Jan. 6, 1979, at the Ascension Church, now St. John Paul II in Mt. Olive, and she survives.
He attended Mt. Olive High School and graduated in 1974. He was employed by Georgia Pacific Corporation in Mt. Olive as a machine operator helper for 43 years. In his spare time, Mark enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales.
Mark is survived by his mother, Imogene; his wife, Mary Spudic; two sons, Eric and Dane; brother, Keith (Sharon) Spudic; and sister, Cassandra (John) Spudic-Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, William Spudic.
Services were held at Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive on Monday, Dec. 19.
