Worden man faces armed violence charges

Joshua L. Latham, 28, of Worden, has been charged with armed violence, a Class X felony; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, both Class 1 felonies; and possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 2 felony.

The case was presented by the Illinois State Police and he was charged in Madison County court on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

On Friday, Nov. 25, Latham allegedly was armed with a 22-caliber Ruger Wrangler revolver while in possession of more than one gram of cocaine and 5-15 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver....
