The Dec. 15 meeting of the Staunton Senior Citizens started at 1 p.m. with the president Gerry Cook bringing it to order. There were 24 members attending. The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were said. The attendance prizes were won by Gerry Cook and Cheryl Moore. Pots of silver went to Elsie Guarienti and Gaylene Ocepek. The members sang Happy Birthday to the four birthday members for December. The meeting was adjourned and everyone enjoyed playing bingo which was called by Leslie Vannoy, regional administrator for The Glenwood Supportive Living facilities.
The next meeting will be on Thursday Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ located at 225 S. Laurel Street in Staunton. All seniors in the area are welcome to join us.
