Lilley

Gary Ray Lilley, 71, of Livingston, Ill., died on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland. He was born on Feb. 13, 1951, in East St. Louis, the son of Howard and Joan (Travis) Lilley. He married Carol Boston on June 23, 1971, in Carlinville, and she survives.

Gary was a salesman for many years. He bought and sold antiques at flea markets in Missouri for many years. Gary also enjoyed baking, being outdoors, and he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.

Gary is survived by his wife, Carol Lilley of Livingston; four children, Christy (Brett) Ruehrup of New Douglas, Jordan (Rachael) Lilley of Alhambra, Amelia (Kyle) Schmeder of Freeburg, and Chelsy (Matt) Dustmann of Staunton; seven grandchildren, Logan (Lindsey) Ruehrup, Lauren (Spencer) Raffield, Zanden, Hunter, and Travis Lilley, Daisy and Bo Dustmann; one great-grandson, Reed Raffield; a brother, Gene (Julie) Lilley; two sisters, Lorraine (Roger) Mathenia and Terry Selas; along with numerous other family members.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rick Lilley.

There will be no services for Gary.
