Experience the true meaning of Christmas through a reenactment of the Bible’s Luke chapter 2, the birth of Jesus, on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. The program begins in a heated shed before following the shepherds to the manger scene complete with live animals underneath the night sky. Enjoy fellowship and refreshments in the shed following the program. This 25th year of the event is returning to a live program beginning at 6 p.m., not a drive through as the past two years.
The O Holy Night Live Nativity is held at the farm of Dave and Mary Griffel, 16308 Honey Creek Road, Gillespie.The directions from Gillespie are travel north on Route 4 for 2.8 miles, turn left (west) on Honey Creek Road, proceed 1.6 miles to the farm on the right.
O Holy Night is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Gillespie, Zion Lutheran Church of Mt. Olive, and First Christian Church of Gillespie.
