The Worden Public Library was the recipient of a bequest from the estate of Robert Pieper. After much discussion, the Library Board of Trustees and staff decided that they would like to use these funds for a community project.
The sidewalks in front of the library property and toward the post office were in poor condition. It was decided and voted on that this would be the perfect project. With the help of the village president, village board of trustees and village maintenance crew, the old concrete was removed and disposed of. The library then paid for the new concrete.
Everything turned out...
