This newspaper clipping from the Springfield State Journal was sent in by Kathy Legendre. It shows the 1923 Staunton football team. Since this is the only picture we have of this team, we're going to see how it comes out. This is the team that beat Gillespie 232-0 at Gillespie on Nov. 24,1923, smashing all scoring records.
