Businesses, organizations and individuals are being sought to participate in the Livingston Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 16. This Sunday (Oct. 9) is the registration deadline for those who want to decorate a vehicle and pass out treats to children at the event.
Vehicles for the Trunk or Treat should register on the Livingston Park Association’s Facebook page through the “Sign Up” button near the top right side of the page. The Trunk or Treat will take place from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Those who will have vehicles and pass out treats should be at the park by 3:30 p.m. that day.
The more “trunks” that participate will make this a great Halloween event. This will be a family friendly afternoon, with fun-filled activities for the little ghouls and goblins.
The Livingston Park Association will also collect non-perishable food at the Trunk or Treat. These items will be used in the holiday food baskets in the Livingston/Williamson community. Those attending are encouraged to help “cram the coffins” with their food donations. All contributions are welcome, but Thanksgiving-related items (canned pumpkin, cranberries, stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and evaporated milk) will be greatly appreciated.
