Staunton's Ribfest this Saturday

The 2022 version of Staunton Ribfest will be held this Saturday, Aug. 27, at Staunton Recreation Park (Firemen’s Park).

All cookers as well as all judges participating in the Ribfest must be members of the STL BBQ Society.

Cookers entered in the competition will get their kitchen/smokers set up in the park at 6 a.m. Meat will be distributed courtesy of the City of Staunton and Bill’s IGA.

Official judging begins at 2:30 p.m. with the winners being announced at 4 p.m. Cash prizes being awarded to winners are $500 for first place, $300 for second, $250 for third, $150 for fourth. Fifth place is...
