Memorial Fun Run is Aug. 20

The Annual Tori Carroll Memorial 5K/1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday Aug. 20, starting at 8 a.m. The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Staunton High School.

This annual Fun/Run is a fundraiser to benefit Staunton Community Unit School District #6 in Tori Carroll's name. Race organizers are hoping to beat last year’s total of $13,000.

Last year, they started raising money for new flooring in the multipurpose room. It’s a big job and very expensive. So far, funds are about a third of the way there.
