MCPHD immunization and physical clinic at Staunton school health office

Macoupin County Public Health Department (MCPHD) is returning to the Staunton School District this year to provide immunizations, sports physicals, and school physicals. If your child still needs immunizations or a school/sport physical, please follow the instructions below to get scheduled at this outreach event.

MCPHD accepts most insurances. If you would like to pay out of pocket for physicals, the cost is $25 for either a school or sport physical and $30 for both a school and sport physical together. Pre-registration will be open until Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Go to the school's Web page to schedule an appointment. Fill out the appointment request form completely, making sure your phone number is accurate, then submit your request. After you submit your appointment request, an MCPHD staff member will contact you by phone to finalize your appointment time and provide further information regarding the new, electronic registration process.

If you do not have internet capabilities to submit your appointment request, call 217-825-3765 and leave a detailed message with your name, your child’s name, your child’s school district, and your callback number. An MCPHD staff member will return messages in the order they are received.

Keep in mind that you must pre-register for this clinic. No walk-ins will be taken for physicals or immunizations.

The clinic will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the health office at the school.
